Come and join us for Family day out, have a joy flight in one of the Air League’s Piper Warrior aircraft, bave a look around the Air League Base, take a tour up the Control tower ( TBC), do an “Air Activity Course” and badge and enjoy free BBQ Lunch .

Jeremy in the UK

Some of the older cadets may remember Jeremy Sequeira who was a former cadet of City of Blacktown Squadron. Jeremy studied aerospace at uninversity and has been working for the last few years in Adelaide with DSTO for the RAAF.

More recently he’s been in the UK, at the prestigious Empire Flight Test School. Read about his adventures (or at least what he’s allowed to tell us!) here

ANZAC Day 2015

Cadets and parents are reminded that next Saturday, 25h April is the 100th Anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli. The Squadron will be taking part in the Blacktown RSL Dawn Service and are required to form up at the McDonalds carpark on Sunnyholt Rd near the RSL at 4:30am.

Following on from this we will travel into the city to take part in the annual ANZAC Day march through the streets of Sydney. Cadets will be required carry banners for the RAAF Association or march in the band.

The Australian Air League Review 2016 will be held on Saturday, 1st October 2016 at Ballarat, Victoria. City of Blacktown Squadron will be attending this Review so don’t remember to mark it on your calendar now!
